Breast Reconstruction - Case 33
A 48 year-old woman with delayed reconstruction after bilateral mastectomy. Since she had more available tissue in the upper abdomen, she had a bilateral breast reconstruction with midabdominal pedicled TRAM flaps. Note the scar in these cases is midabdominal, in-line with the belly button. She had one revision of her reconstruction. Nipple-areolar reconstruction was performed with C-V flaps and areolar tattoo. This is her one-year postoperative result.
