Breast Reconstruction - Case 3
A 68 year old woman who had immediate placement of a tissue expander after mastectomy on the right. She had a breast reduction on the left at the same time. During her exchange procedure on the right, a small submusclular augmentation of the upper pole of the left breast was performed for best symmetry. She had a 550cc saline implant placed on the right and a 200cc saline implant on the left. Nipple-areolar reconstruction was performed with nipple sharing from the left and an areolar tattoo. This is her two year postoperative result.
