Breast Reconstruction - Case 26

This 48 year-old woman had bilateral nipple sparing mastectomy with implant reconstruction with another surgeon. She had a history radiation to the R chest and had failure of the right reconstruction requiring implant removal.  I performed a delayed bilateral breast reconstruction with removal of left implant and bilateral muscle sparing free TRAM flaps. She had one revision of her reconstruction.  Nipple-areolar reconstruction was performed by salvaging her remaining nipple on the left, splitting it, and using it as a free nipple graft on both sides.   Her areolar was reconstructed with tattoo.  This is her one-year postoperative result.
