Breast Reconstruction - Case 23


A 35 year-old woman who had a history of left mastectomy and chest wall radiation.
She had reconstruction with a latissimus flap over tissue expander on the left chest and an immediate prophylactic skin sparing mastectomy with placement of tissue expander on the right. She was expanded on both sides then had exchange of her expanders for a high profile 325 cc silicone gel implant on the left and a high profile 350cc silicone gel implant on the right. Nipple-areolar reconstruction was performed with C-V flap and areolar tattoo. This is her one-year postoperative result.
